Nick Allen, CEO

Nick Allen joined St. Regis Properties in 2011 where he initially focused his efforts on acquisitions and asset management.  During his tenure he has successfully sourced and overseen the completion of multiple development projects, as well as, supervised the operation of the multifamily investment portfolio. Prior to St. Regis Properties, Nick held finance positions with CJB Capital. Apart from his real estate career, Nick founded a rally car racing team where he acted as Driver and Team Manager competing in National Championships throughout the United States and United Kingdom. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Social Sciences from the University of Southern California. Nick is active with Super Stars Literacy program in the East Bay Area, helping to provide low income K-2nd grade students with after school programs to bring their reading proficiency up to grade level.

Samuel c. Remcho, PRESIDENT

Sam Remcho joined St. Regis Properties in 2013 and is responsible for overseeing company operations, acquisitions, and development.  He began his real estate career in residential financing at World Savings Bank, where he was rookie of the year in 2005.  Sam then moved on to multifamily brokerage at Cornish & Carey Commercial, which was later acquired by Newmark Knight Frank.  Prior to joining St. Regis, he founded Selborne Properties, a property management and brokerage company based in Oakland, California that specializes in multifamily and single family homes.  While with St. Regis, Sam has directed his efforts on acquiring multifamily assets and executing on development projects, ranging from land entitlement to ground up construction.  He is focused on expanding the portfolio in core markets throughout the western US.  Sam is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, a licensed California real estate broker, commercial rated pilot, and volunteer firefighter.


Clifton Tidwell, Head of Asset Management

Cliff Tidwell joined St. Regis Properties in 2021 to lead the execution of the firm’s asset management strategies, initiatives, and programs. Cliff is responsible for asset and portfolio performance, capital projects, due diligence and underwriting, and overseeing property operations with third parties. Prior to joining St. Regis Properties, Cliff was Senior Director at Greystar where he led the business development and client services team for the Dallas region. During his 11-year tenure with Greystar, he successfully sourced and transitioned 140 properties totaling over 43,000 units. Cliff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas.

ROBERT LEE, CONTROLLER

Robert Lee joined St. Regis Properties in 2019 to advise and handle financial decisions and reporting for the firm. Prior to St. Regis Properties, Robert worked with large law firms assisting them in major front-page litigation ranging from intellectual property cases involving major US and international handset makers and mortgage fraud lawsuits against some of the largest US banks.  Robert later switched to tax accounting where he spent several years in public accounting firms working with high tech startups, real estate investors, and high net worth individuals. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law. Robert is licensed to practice law in California.

JOHN F. ALLEN, CHAIRMAN

John F. Allen was born and raised in an iconic “River City, Iowa” town during the 1950’s, where he was first introduced to the real estate investment industry through working with his father.  After graduating from the University of Iowa, and serving in the U.S. Army, John attended UC Berkeley Business School to further his professional education.  Bringing the Allen Family real estate tradition to California, in the late 1970’s, John made numerous investments in the San Francisco Bay Area.  These projects ranged from office, retail, condominiums, single family, and multifamily housing.  John served as Chairman of the Board at Dominican University for four years and is responsible for founding the Allen Sports Club, an after school sports program directed towards providing structure, athletic community and an introduction to a college environment for at risk children.  John held board positions at Marin Academy, the CDLA, the Bay Area Sports Hall Of Fame,  and the Commonwealth Club of California.
